I am a proud product of Victoria ISD where I attended Smith Elementary, Crain Intermediate, and Victoria High School. After graduation, I attended The University of Texas at Austin for my bachelor’s degree and later completed my Master of Education at the University of Houston-Victoria. I taught 4th grade and was the math facilitator at Shields Elementary for eight years before I became a Wildcat. I was the learning facilitator at Howell for two years before spending a year working in assessment at central office. Then I was fortunate to come back to Howell as assistant principal for three years before being named principal in 2016.
