Will be based on Student participation every day.
Welcome Howell Athletic Girls. I will be Coaching 7th grade B Team in Volleyball and A Team Basketball . All Coaches will work together in Track. I will also teach 7th grade P.E. Wildcat Pride. Let's have a great year.
Howell Physical Education/Pre-Athletics
Physical Education is a class where the students will experience different fitness and sport-related activities. The class goal is to present a curriculum that is enriching and motivating to all students at all fitness levels and abilities. Students can learn to make good lifetime health and fitness choices.
Supplies for P.E/Pre-Athletics
Gray shirt or Howell spirit shirt
Black shorts/Black Capri
Running shoes
Small mesh bag or string backpack
Combination lock only
Students must be dressed within 3 - 5 minutes after tardy bell.
Workout Attire - gray shirt or spirit shirt, black shorts/black wind pants and sneakers must be worn everyday.
Students will place school clothes and all valuable belongings in backpack in their assigned basket.
Hygiene products must be in plastic containers. No glass containers or aerosol cans allowed. (i.e. hair products, cologne or perfume cans or bottles)
Take care of restroom and water needs before leaving dressing room
Walk everywhere unless otherwise directed.
No gum, candy, food, or drink during class.
Keep hands and feet and all other body parts to yourself.
No school supplies, cell phones, or any other item are allowed to be
brought into the gym.
Stay off and away from bleachers, basketball nets, volleyball nets and any other equipment set out.
No talking during stretching, agility, and instruction.
5 second rule on water breaks.
Get permission to leave gym for any reason.
Students will have 5 to 7 minutes to get dressed for their next class.
Students will not leave designated areas until dismissed.
***Notes from parents because of illness and/or minor injury – Notes are good for 1 day.
***Notes from a doctor must also include a release date and/or specify the time to be out from physical activity.
***Students with notes will have a written assignment instead of physical activity that must be turned in at the end of period.
