Welcome to 7th grade science at Howell Middle School. Seventh grade science curriculum has been designed to cover topics from cells to weathering and erosion to human body systems and genetics. These topics are covered in depth to help prepare students for their 8th grade science STAAR test. Good class participation, critical thinking/analysis, and studying are needed to be academically successful while at the same time having some fun safe learning. 

General expectations: Follow directions, participate in all aspects of the learning environment-not just labs but writing and thinking. 

Looking forward to a great school year 2019-2020.

Grading policy: 50% daily and 50% tests
