7th Grade Science Introduction
Welcome to 7th grade science at Howell Middle School. Seventh grade science curriculum has been designed to cover topics such as elements/compounds, matter/energy, motion/forces, plate tectonics, inherited traits. These topics are covered in depth to help prepare students for their 8th grade science STAAR test. Good class participation, critical thinking/analysis, and studying are needed to be academically successful while at the same time having some fun safe learning.
General expectations: Follow directions, participate in all aspects of the learning environment-not just labs but writing and thinking.
