Volunteering Around Our Community

NJHS sponsored the Socktober service project in the month of October. Howell students were encouraged to bring in brand new pairs of socks. Our goal this year was to donate 500 pairs of socks, but we surpassed that goal! We were able to donate over 700 pairs of socks to VISD students and families in need and the Victoria Homeless Coalition. Clean and dry socks make a world of difference, especially when it is cold outside.
