Victoria ISD Students Selected for Prestigious Youth Art Month Exhibition

Victoria ISD is proud to announce that two of its talented student artists have been selected for the 2024-25 Texas Art Education Association's (TAEA) Youth Art Month (YAM) Spring Exhibition.

The selected students are:

  • Kimberlie Hulsey — Victoria East High School

  • Alee'a Waeckerlin — Victoria West High School

Their artwork will be featured in the prestigious Youth Art Month Exhibition at the Bullock Texas State History Museum in Austin, Texas, from March 2-29, 2025. This annual exhibition showcases outstanding artwork from Pre-K through 12th grade students across the state, celebrating the creativity and talent of young artists.

The exhibit will also be available online at thestoryoftexas.com, allowing broader access to view the inspiring works of Texas student artists.
