The Office of Innovation has begun recruiting efforts for the Pathways in Technology Early College High School (P-TECH) pathways housed at Victoria East and West High School.

In November, current P-TECH students, teachers and Administrator of P-TECH, Martin Sanchez, visited with eighth-graders at Cade, Howell, Patti Welder, and Stroman Middle Schools to share information about the P-TECH pathways: Healthcare, Computer Science, Education & Training and Texas Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (T-STEM).

T-STEM is a new pathway geared towards engineering that will be available in the fall of 2022 at Victoria East High school.

During campus visits current P-TECH students shared their experiences in their pathway, what a student can expect in time for studying and assignments, and more.

P-TECH will host a P-TECH Showcase in January 2022 for families and students to learn more about the programs and application process.

If your child is interested in a P-TECH pathway, sign up HERE. The P-TECH application period opens on Tuesday, Dec. 7, 2021 and will close on Tuesday, Jan. 25, 2022. Any applications submitted after will be placed on a waitlist.
